Through this program, the College certifies that it has adopted and implemented a drug prevention program for students and employees. Students are given information on drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) through: literature,video presentations health consultants, drug and alcohol referral information, on-campus counseling, pamphlets in the student lounge & Library. Students understand that they or their families, not the College, are responsible for the cost of such emergency care including any necessary ambulance service. Students may complete the SELF-IDENTIFICATION Form at any time to declare their special population status, or scan the QR code below. The College refers serious accidents or illnesses to the nearest hospital (or hospital of the student’s choice) for emergency care, and notifies the student’s next of kin. Stewart County had one President's List recipient and two honor grads while Chattahoochee County had one President's List/honor grad. Harris county had four President List honorees and nine honor graduates. The most populous county in the College's service area, Muscogee, had eight students on the President's List and 31 honor graduates. Columbus Technical College is proud to recognize the 79 students who met this standard as well as the 32 (includes duplicates) who earned a spot on the coveted President's List by achieving a perfect 4.0 for the term while enrolled in a full load of classes. Honor graduates are those who complete their studies with a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or higher.
